In his teenage years Ron came from a background of theatre restaurant and club shows. Then in the mid 1980's formed the original and covers band StillCrazy, eventually writing all their material. Never realising he was writing a modern country style till pointed out by the producer of the bands first album. In the mid 1990's the band split up and Ron spent the next 25 years performing in various duo and solo acts in pubs and clubs mainly in Sydney and Woolongong, while also running a venue consultancy and entertainment booking agency.
In 2016 Ron closed the company and quit the Sydney performing scene, deciding just to go travelling about the country with his wife. After a year or two Ron started writing songs again, inspired by life and people you meet living on the road, and was delighted to be a semi finalist in a couple of categories last year with the Tamworth Songwriters Association. Now happily doing the odd gig here and there while travelling, as well as adventuring back into the recording studio now and again. Life is good as well as musical.
Come and join Ron at one of his gigs!
