Lorraine has been involved in Country Music many years commencing as a teenager. Writing for magazines such as Spurs, Country & Western Spotlight, Country Express and today still writes for Capital News and The A.B.B.A Bulletins. In 2021 wrote her on life story and publishing the book titled Minlaton Girl.

Began playing guitar and singing early in her teens but never took it seriously until later in life. Going on to perform around SA and the eastern states of Aust. Recorded several albums and recently recorded a new single for release next year. Today she mainly entertains at nursing homes and retirement villages & The Tamworth Country Music Festival.

She has been involved in fund raising for many of the Bronze Bust in Pioneers Parade in Bicentennial Park. For many years look after the Hands of Fame Has been overseas several times and oner of her highlights of her career was being asked by Justin Tubb to sing on the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree in Nashville after he saw her perform in Meridian, Mississippi at the Jimmie Rodgers festival in 1990. Inducted into Rocky Page’s Hall of Fame & Avenue of Honor in Barmera. SA in 1996 & the Hands of Fame in Tamworth in 2005.
