Alisha Smith is a bush ballad lead guitarist who was taught and inspired by the late Barry Thornton. She enjoys picking out country instrumentals and has travelled far and wide across Australia for the past 24 years with her late partner Keith Jamieson OAM and daughter Caitlyn Jamieson, performing at festivals, clubs, pubs and old-time country halls. Alisha was a Golden Guitar finalist for Instrumental of the Year in 2008 for ''Tanami Track" with Charley Boyter.

Alisha will be appearing at the Tamworth festival with her daughter Caitlyn, where they will be hosting some shows at the Southside Uniting Church Hall, including the annual 'Jammo's Living Legends of Australian Country Music' concert - an increasingly popular showcase of our traditional country music pioneers - being held on Tuesday 23rd at 6pm. Another great concert will be Jammo's Big Bush Ballad Spectacular, which will be on Thursday 25th January from 6pm and will feature a variety of artists.

Alisha and Caitlyn are excited to be heading to Tamworth and are also looking forward to performing at the Back to the Bush concert in Bicentennial Park and doing a couple of shows with Jeff Brown and family.
