Shelley Minson and her multi award-winning husband Lawrie are from Tamworth NSW and they play a fun mix of Classic Country, Honky Tonk and Rockabilly.

Shelley’s debut album ROCKABILITY was released in Las Vegas 2017 at the world’s largest Rockabilly festival – Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend.

Some of her many festival performances include, Viva Las Vegas (2015, 2017) Cooly Rocks On (2017, 2018 2019), Parkes Elvis Festival (2019, 2020), Shepparton Shakeout, Ballarat Beat and the Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival.

Shelley has a love for the 50s era and has been dressing vintage inspired for a number of years. She has been featured in many retro magazines including Pin Up America, Retro Lovely, Retro Vintage Review Magazine and Pin Up Skool. She has also judged the Pin Up Australia competition, Best Vintage style at Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival and Melbourne Love Vintage.

Her husband Lawrie has been a pro musician for more than 40 years. He’s won four Golden Guitars and has worked with many top artists including Jimmy Barnes and Lee Kernaghan and more recently with Andrew Farriss from INXS.

Shelley’s latest single is Some Boys, an original and upbeat modern Rockabilly song.
