Dollys
Dollys are a group of young talented musicians from the most southern region in NZ - Southland
Maia Fletcher, Tahla Ward and Millie Cottam have all enjoyed success on the stage as solo artists and a year ago formed their group - Dollys.
They have quickly become renowned for their mesmerising performances that feature stunning blending and beautiful harmonies where three voices become one.
The achievement they are most proud of was being awarded Overall Intermediate winners of the MLT Gore Gold Guitars NZ in June where they also won Open group against an incredible line up of senior competitors.
They can be found singing a variety of country music songs with their unique sound featuring folk, old time and contemporary country with some strong influence being inspired by artists such as Jenny Mitchell, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, EmmyLou Harris and Johnny Cash to name a few.
Outside of singing Maia and Tahla have a strong cultural involvement that stems from their Maori heritage and Millie enjoys engaging with the Southland community with her school choir FEMME.
