Ashley Cook
Ashley’s career as a singer took a leap when in consecutive years 2003 - 2004 he made the grand finals in the Australian Bush Balladeer Star Quest. He got a lucky break in Tamworth in 2003 when LBS Music producer Lindsay Butler noticed his performance and a year later offered him an even bigger break to record on the ‘The Music Lives On’ the LBS Tribute Album to the King of Country Music Slim Dusty. Ashley has gone on and recorded eight albums and a DVD Under Queensland’s Skies which has been filmed from the Gold Coast to Mareeba. Ashley’s latest album For Country, The Flag & Me has more great ballads and stories just like his latest single Stand Up For Slim. Ashley has gone on and won numerous awards in 2009 Ashley was Inducted onto the Wall of Honour at Lindsay Butler Studios while in Tamworth 2019 Ashley was very honored to be Inducted onto The Hands of Fame 2019, 2017 National Male Artist of the Year - Gold Media Medallion, 7x Queensland Bush Balladeer of the Year at Queensland Gold Media Medallion Awards.
